Welcome to The Aura Rug. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of theaurarug.com and any purchase you make from us.
By browsing our site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our site.
Please read Section 15 carefully — it limits our liability to you.
1. Who We Are
The Aura Rug is a brand operated by NguyenDucDuyAnh LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States.

Throughout these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to The Aura Rug. "You" refers to you, the visitor or customer.
2. Eligibility
To place an order, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information at checkout
By ordering, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
We may refuse service, cancel orders, or close accounts at our discretion, particularly where we suspect fraud, abuse, or a breach of these Terms.
3. Our Products
Made to order
Every rug we sell is printed and finished after you place your order. We do not hold stock. Your design goes into production specifically for you, which is why processing takes several business days and why our cancellation window is limited.
3D optical illusion — important
All of our rugs are flat printed rugs featuring a 3D optical illusion.
The depth, cracks, stone edges, glowing effects, recesses, and shadows shown in our product images are created entirely through printed artwork. Nothing on the rug is physically sculpted, embossed, recessed, or raised from the surface.
By placing an order, you confirm that you understand this. Dissatisfaction with the flat construction of a rug is not grounds for a refund under our Return & Refund Policy.
Colour and appearance
Screens, phones, and room lighting render colour differently, and printed textile fibres absorb ink differently than a backlit display shows it. Minor variation between our product photography and your finished rug is normal.
Product photography
Furniture, cushions, blankets, candles, pumpkins, lamps, and other items shown in our listing images are styling props and are not included with your purchase. Each listing includes one rug only, unless a bundle option is explicitly selected at checkout.
Sizes
Rugs are available in 36, 48, 72, and 91 inch diameters. Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly due to the nature of textile production. Please measure your space before ordering.
4. Pricing and Availability
All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated at checkout.
We reserve the right to:
- Change prices at any time without prior notice
- Modify or discontinue any product without notice
- Limit the quantity of any product sold to any person or region
Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed and paid for.
Pricing and description errors
Our site may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to prices, descriptions, promotions, or availability.
We reserve the right to correct any error and to cancel or refuse any order placed at an incorrect price, even after the order has been confirmed and payment taken. If we cancel your order for this reason, we will refund you in full and notify you promptly.
5. Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to purchase, not a completed contract.
Your order is accepted when we send you a shipping confirmation email. Until then, we may decline or cancel your order for reasons including:
- The product is unavailable or has been discontinued
- A pricing or description error
- Suspected fraudulent or unauthorised payment
- A shipping address we cannot deliver to
- Personalisation content that breaches Section 7
If we cancel an order after payment, we refund you in full within one business day.
6. Payment
Payment is taken in full at checkout. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
You represent that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide, and that the billing information you supply is accurate.
Card details are entered directly into our payment processor's secure system. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Chargebacks. If you have a problem with your order, please contact us first. We resolve nearly every issue within 24 hours. Filing a chargeback without contacting us prevents us from helping and may result in us declining future orders from you.
7. Personalised and Custom Orders
Where a product offers personalisation, you are responsible for the accuracy of the text you submit, including spelling, capitalisation, and punctuation. We produce exactly what you enter. Personalised items cannot be refunded for customer typing errors.
By submitting personalisation content, you warrant that:
- You own the rights to it, or have permission to use it
- It does not infringe any trademark, copyright, or other right of a third party
- It is not unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory
We reserve the right to refuse and cancel any order containing content we consider inappropriate, and will refund you in full if we do so.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping timeframes, rates, and international customs information are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Once a parcel is handed to a carrier, transit times are outside our control.
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided, subject to the protections in our Return & Refund Policy.
For international orders, import duties, taxes, and customs fees are your responsibility and are not included in the price you pay us.
9. Returns and Refunds
Our Return & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and sets out your rights in full, including our 30-day guarantee, what we cover, and how to make a claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your state or country.
10. Intellectual Property — Our Content
All content on theaurarug.com — including rug designs, artwork, photographs, text, graphics, logos, and the arrangement of the site — is owned by or licensed to NguyenDucDuyAnh LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
You may not, without our written permission:
- Reproduce, copy, or resell our designs or artwork
- Use our product images on another store, marketplace, or listing
- Use "The Aura Rug" name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation
- Scrape, data-mine, or systematically extract content from our site
Purchasing a rug grants you ownership of the physical product only. It does not transfer any rights in the design.
11. Copyright Complaints
We respect the intellectual property of others and expect our customers to do the same.
If you believe content on our site infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@theaurarug.com with the subject line "Copyright Notice", including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The specific URL where the allegedly infringing material appears
- Your contact details
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
We investigate every notice and remove infringing material where a claim is valid.
12. Reviews and Content You Submit
If you submit a review, photograph, comment, or other content to us or tag us on social media, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our business, including on our website, in marketing, and on social media.
You warrant that any content you submit is your own honest opinion and experience, that you own it or have permission to share it, and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
We do not publish fabricated reviews, and we do not offer compensation in exchange for positive reviews. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, off-topic, or misleading.
13. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our site:
- For any unlawful purpose, or to solicit others to unlawful acts
- To violate any regulation, rule, or law
- To infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others
- To harass, abuse, defame, or discriminate against any person or group
- To submit false or misleading information
- To upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
- To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the site
- To scrape, spider, or use automated systems to extract data
We may terminate your access for breaching any of the above.
14. Third-Party Services
Our site uses third-party services including Shopify, our payment processors, our print partner Printify, and shipping carriers. Their services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites linked from our site. Your use of those sites is at your own risk.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
Disclaimer
Our site and products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
We do not warrant that our site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Product care and safety
Our rugs are decorative interior floor coverings. They are not intended for outdoor use, for use on stairs, or as safety or anti-slip products.
We strongly recommend using a non-slip rug pad on hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, or any other smooth flooring. We are not liable for slips, falls, or injuries resulting from use without an appropriate rug pad, or from use in a manner the product is not designed for.
Please follow the care instructions supplied with your rug.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NguyenDucDuyAnh LLC, its officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of our site or products.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NguyenDucDuyAnh LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of the rights of a third party.
17. Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use our site. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, without notice, for any breach of these Terms.
Termination does not affect any order already accepted and paid for, or any obligation that by its nature should survive, including Sections 10, 15, 16, and 18.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Informal resolution first
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us at support@theaurarug.com before taking any formal action. We commit to working with you in good faith to resolve it, and in practice nearly every issue is resolved within a day.
Jurisdiction
Any dispute not resolved informally shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Consumers outside the United States
If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of those laws or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of our site and any purchase you make.
Any ambiguity in these Terms shall not be construed against us as the drafting party.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the most recent revision.
Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of our site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The Terms in force at the time you place an order govern that order.
